Well, the first batch of snow & ice has already arrived here in Missouri meaning that’s it for Season 1. The ground is tilled over & awaiting spring once again.
Luckily before the snow & ice arrived the tulips & daffodils were tucked in for their winter hibernation.
As for the winter season, things finally slow down, but don’t stop. Seeds have started arriving and I am excited to try some new varieties next year. For the first time we are trying tomatos in the greenhouse so cross your fingers. Lettuce also made its way back into the cold frame for winter harvesting and I can’t wait for fresh lettuce in January.
Be looking for our next post to see what I’ve been working on for the holidays for ya’ll.
til’ next time…
